Privacy policy
Dawo Group attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This page explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018.

Data collected
When you fill in the contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, the project you are interested in and your message. You are not obliged to provide them, but without them we cannot respond to your request.
When you visit the website, the hosting provider also automatically records technical data, such as your IP address, in its logs. This data is used only to keep the website secure and working properly.
Why we use it
Your data is used only to respond to your request, arrange an appointment or visit, and send you information about the projects you are interested in. This processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and on the steps you ask us to take prior to a possible sale.
We do not send newsletters or commercial offers by email.
Retention period
We keep your data for 3 years after our last contact, then delete it. If your request leads to a purchase, the necessary data is kept for as long as the law requires, in particular for accounting purposes.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data or pass it on to any third party. It is only stored by our technical service providers, who are bound by confidentiality and may not use it for their own purposes:
- the website’s hosting provider, which also forwards the requests sent through the form by email: OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France;
- our email provider, which receives the requests sent through the form: Microsoft (Microsoft 365);
- our website analytics tool, only if you have accepted it: Google Ireland Ltd (Google Analytics).
It may only be disclosed to an authority if the law requires us to do so.
Transfers outside the European Union
Your data is mainly hosted in the European Union. However, as Microsoft and Google are US groups, some data may be transferred outside the Union. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you can:
- access the data we hold about you;
- have it corrected or completed;
- ask for it to be deleted;
- ask us to restrict its use, or object to it;
- receive your data in a common format to pass it on to someone else;
- withdraw your consent, without affecting what was done before.

Your data is not subject to any profiling or automated decision-making.
Security
We take the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or misuse. Only the people at Dawo Group who handle your request have access to it.
Complaints
If you believe your rights are not being respected, please contact us first: we will look for a solution with you. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
Website analytics and cookies
If you accept it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and to improve the website. This processing is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Google Analytics does not store your IP address, and these statistics do not allow us to identify you. They are kept for 14 months.
